Dr. Thomas D. Curtis, DPM, AACFAS is a podiatrist and fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon. He completed his Doctorate at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA. Dr. Curtis then began his three-year residency at the prestigious UCLA hospital consortium and was later appointed as Chief Resident. His residency emphasized training in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery as well as comprehensive rotations in General-Vascular Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Infectious Disease, and Anesthesia. Dr. Curtis took emergent calls at the Veterans Hospital, Los Angeles County-Olive View UCLA Medical Center, and UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center. Following his residency, Dr. Curtis completed a one-year trauma fellowship at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center, where he acted as clinical faculty and a surgical instructor to resident doctors and rotating podiatric and allopathic medical students.

As an Arizona native, Dr. Curtis is enjoying his return home to the valley of the sun. He looks forward to spending time with his family in the scenic landscapes of Arizona. He loves traveling, live music, and surfing. Dr. Curtis is fluent in Spanish.
