Center of Distinction Sarina Epstein, DPM, AACFAS, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon providing comprehensive foot and ankle care to people of all ages at North Florida Foot & Ankle Specialists in Gainesville and Lake City, Florida.
Dr. Epstein was born and raised in New York. She began her professional education at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, where she completed a rigorous pre-med curriculum, earning her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
After graduation, Dr. Epstein enrolled at the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. There, she honed her skills in advanced surgical reconstruction and preventive foot care, earning her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Epstein gained advanced training in traumatic reconstructive surgery, diabetic foot care, plastic surgery, and limb salvage, all while serving as chief resident. As an adjunct to her podiatric education, Dr. Epstein rotated with renowned orthopedic traumatologists and plastic surgeons in South Florida.
She also completed a highly competitive Bako Dermatological Fellowship in Atlanta, Georgia, to advance her knowledge and ability to treat soft tissue pathologies of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Epstein shares the practice with her husband, Joshua. When they aren’t meeting with patients, they enjoy spending time outdoors with their son Jordan and are active participants in Orangetheory Fitness
