Scott Floyd, DPM, is a board-qualified podiatrist and wound care specialist at Academy Foot & Ankle Specialists in the DFW metroplex, TX. Dr. Floyd specializes in diabetic wound care and ulcer care. He has comprehensive training in all aspects of podiatry, including elective and non-elective foot surgery. After graduating from Houston Baptist University, in Houston, TX, with a Bachelor of Science in biology, Dr. Floyd earned his medical degree at Kent State University College of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. He also worked in the orthopedic surgical department at the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA, where he focused on surgical and nonsurgical foot care. Dr. Floyd is extremely passionate about providing the best possible individualized care to his patients. When he is not working with patients, Dr. Floyd enjoys spending time with his family, and frequently participating in church activities.
