Dr. James P. Huish received his undergraduate education from Brigham Young University–Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. He then went on to complete his medical school at the Kent State University-College of Podiatric Medicine located in Independence, Ohio, earning his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Huish completed his reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency through the Inspira Health Network in Vineland, New Jersey. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is Board Certified in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He is a on the hospital staff at Mount Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford, AZ.
has been serving the Gila Valley since 2016. He enjoys treating patients of all ages, including pediatrics. His practice provides both conservative and surgical treatments for a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions including diabetic foot care, bunions, hammertoe, heel pain, ingrown toenails and plantar fasciitis. Dr. Huish specializes in foot and ankle deformity correction, Achilles tendon repair, trauma, pediatric and adult flatfoot correction, ankle arthroscopy, bunions and most other minor and major podiatric surgeries.
