Dr. McAlexander was born in Seattle, WA and raised in Fremont, CA. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Puget Sound, Washington in 1984 followed by a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree (DPM) at The California College of Podiatric Medicine, San Francisco, CA in 1989. He completed his residency at Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, American Lake, WA in 1989.

Dr. McAlexander first began practice at Pacific Foot & Ankle Clinic in 1990. Three years later, Dr. McAlexander established Gig Harbor Foot and Ankle Clinic, in Gig Harbor, WA.
