Dr. Mehta grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, and attended University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He then attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
He then completed residency in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery in St. Louis. During residency, he experienced extensive training and has performed multiple surgical procedures encompassing all aspects of surgical care and pedal deformity, and is well versed in all areas of forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle pathology.

He specializes in conservative care as well, including orthotic control of lower extremity biomechanics.
Outside of his career, he enjoys college and professional sports, new technological innovations, market finance, music, trying new foods, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
