Ben Saviet, DPM

As a dual board- certified foot and ankle surgeon specializing in the care of a variety of feet and ankle problems, Dr. Benjamin Saviet, DPM, has a passion for helping patients return to the activities they love. Dr. Saviet is proud to be providing skilled treatment services, surgical and non-surgical, at Central Massachusetts Podiatry to residents living in and around Worcester, and Westborough, Massachusetts.

Dr. Saviet has a lifelong connection to New England and in particular, Central Massachusetts. He grew up in Sutton, Massachusetts and attended Saint John’s High School. ge where he also was a member of their NCAA Division I cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. Following Providence College, Ben received a Master of Science in Biology at UMass-Lowell while utilizing his remaining track eligibility, specializing in the 3000-meter Steeplechase. Dr. Saviet then earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. He completed his reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts, one of the premier residency programs in the country at that time.

Dr. Saviet is an active member of several podiatric organizations including the Massachusetts Foot and Ankle Society, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He also participates in the training of podiatric surgery residents and students in the region. Dr. Saviet continues to be an avid runner and cyclist. He has an enthusiasm for helping all patients return to the activities that they love and believes firmly in the adage “you don’t stop being active because you get old, you get old because you stop being active.”
