W. Bret Smith, DO, MS, FAOAO, an orthopedic surgeon, specializes in total ankle replacement, bunion and hammertoe disorders, arthritis of the foot and ankle, deformity correction (Taylor Spatial Frame), charcot arthropathy, foot and ankle trauma, flatfoot and tendon transfers.

Dr. Smith received his master’s and medical degrees from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Doctors Hospital, Ohio University, in Columbus, Ohio, and completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus.
