Dr. Thiele specializes in both the non-operative and surgical management of all foot and ankle conditions, ranging from pediatric to geriatric care, including sports medicine. His expertise ranges from routine foot surgery to more advanced surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle including, but not limited to, trauma, limb salvage procedures and as well as revision surgery. He operates at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital–Somerset and the Surgical Center at Cedar Knolls. Dr. Thiele is also a member of a highly trained wound care team at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset Center for Wound Healing. He serves as a Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgeon at the wound care center. This team of wound specialists manages very complicated lower extremity wounds. Dr. Thiele has two board certifications in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rear foot / Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
