Dr. Jason Woods is board certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a certified wound management professional by the American Board of Wound Management. Dr. Woods joined the medical staff of Schneck Medical Center in 2012 and joined the staff of Schneck Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in 2013.

Dr. Woods received his undergraduate education from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where he majored in biological science and minored in psychology. in University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. He graduated magna cum laude and received several awards including the Proficiency in Surgery Award, the Michael L. Stone, DPM Award for Outstanding Professional Conduct, and the Dr. Jerry Brant Leadership Award. He was also honored by being named a Swanson Scholar Award Recipient for Independent Research and was the recipient of the University Honor Council Professionalism Award.

Dr. Woods completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, PA. While at UPMC, his training was focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine of the foot and ankle, foot and ankle trauma surgery, limb salvage surgery, and advanced wound healing modalities.
