Dr. Matthew McCabe DPM, MS FACFAS, DABPM, is a fellowship-trained surgeon and podiatrist at Water Oak Foot and Ankle Surgery, located in Mansfield, Texas. After graduation, he completed his foot and ankle surgical residency at Christus Saint Patrick Hospital and the Center for Orthopaedics in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Residency training was focused on foot and ankle surgery with an emphasis on trauma and sports medicine. As a resident, Dr. McCabe served as one of the team physicians at McNeese State University covering the football and track teams. He was also the first resident of his program. His fellowship training was completed at the Midwest Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Omaha, Nebraska where he focused on orthoplastics and major surgical reconstruction of the lower extremity.
Dr. Matthew McCabe DPM, MS FACFAS, DABPM is licensed in the state of Texas and is an Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is board certified in foot surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. McCabe enjoys spending time with his family as well as hunting and fishing.
