Dr. Corey Goolsby was born in Morgan City, Louisiana and relocated to Portland,Texas in 1991 and considers himself a native to Corpus Christi/South Texas area.
He graduated from Gregory Portland High School and completed his undergraduate training at Texas A&M Corpus Christi majoring in Biology with emphasis in biomedical sciences where he graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude). While in his undergraduate studies, Corey was involved in multiple community service organizations including Rotaract and during his Senior year at TAMUCC was president of his local premedical honor society, Alpha Epsilon Delta.

Corey continued his post graduate education/residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he completed 3 years of surgical training in the foot and ankle. His surgical expertise includes Diabetic reconstruction and limb salvage, surgical management of foot and ankle trauma, surgical correction of foot and ankle deformities, and conservative and surgical management of the athlete.
Corey enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, daughter and son.
