Certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot /Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery® and Diplomate, American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery® Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery.

During his final year of residency, Dr. Hubbard was selected to complete a highly competitive and rigorous year of training at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento, California, focusing on trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries.

Dr. Hubbard has treated hundreds of simple and complex ankle fractures, along with other lower extremity injuries, such as Pilon fractures, calcaneal fractures, Lisfranc fractures, and gunshot wounds. He also received selective training in pediatric and adult flatfoot, learning nonsurgical and surgical treatment options. Dr. Hubbard is one of the few foot and ankle surgeons in Alaska who’s trained in ankle arthroscopy and total ankle replacement.

As an avid outdoorsman, Dr. Hubbard loves to hunt, fish, mountain bike, water ski, snowmobile, and enjoy any outdoor activity that involves his wife and two boys. He and his family are thrilled to call Fairbanks home. He’s also fluent in Spanish.
