Dr. William Long joined Upstate Podiatry Group, PA, in July 2013. He is a native of Spartanburg, SC, and a graduate from South Carolina State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree. Dr. Long served eight (8) years of active duty in the United States Coast Guard. While stationed in Charleston, SC, he was hand-selected to supervise the newly formed Maritime Homeland Security Office Department in response to the horrific events of 9/11.
He also holds a Master of Arts Degree from the Citadel Military College and later acquired his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine Degree from Temple University in 2009. Dr. Long completed a four-year Foot and ankle surgical residency at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania Presb...
Dr. Long serves on the board of trustees for the American Podiatric Medical Association and is chair of the legislative committee. Dr. Long is dual board certified in both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He enjoys practicing in South Carolina and serving his community.
