Dr. Simon grew up in Northern Utah. He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Microbiology and minor in Chemistry. He obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State College of Podiatric medicine in Cleveland Ohio.

Dr. Simon completed a three year surgical residency with an emphasis in trauma and foot and ankle reconstruction at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood in Kingwood, Texas, where he served as Chief Resident in his 3rd year.
