Dr. Amirkiai has been living in the Bay Area for over 35 years. He completed his undergraduate studies in Applied Microbiology and worked at Genentec Corporation for one year prior to pursuing podiatry. He received his Doctorate Degree in Podiatric Medicine with honors from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He completed his podiatric surgical residency program at Department of Veterans Administration Medical Center in San Francisco and Kaiser Peremanente in San Diego where he received extensive training in podiatric surgery.

He is currently Vice President of Santa Clara Podiatric Medical Association, active member of American Podiatric Medical Association and California Podiatric Medical Association.
