Oksana Buttita, DPM

Dr. Buttita was born and raised in Kherson, Ukraine, and moved to the United States at the age of 19. From an early age she knew she wanted to pursue a career in medicine, so she started her long path at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Buttita graduated with Honors at the top of her class, and was accepted with a scholarship to William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. Following graduate school, she completed residency training at South Miami Hospital/Baptist Health in Miami, Florida where she received extensive training in foot and ankle surgery and reconstructive procedures. , where she received unique experience in treating children with various musculoskeletal pathologies.
Dr. Buttita has a special interest in diabetic limb salvage and treatment of non-healing wounds. She has been using the latest innovative wound care products and regenerative medicine in order to accelerate wound healing, promote wound closure and prevent limb loss in diabetic patients.
Dr. Buttita serves as a teaching faculty member at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital residency program, where she takes an active role in training and education of new generations of surgeons. She also provides inpatient care at a new state-of-the-art HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie, FL.
Dr. Buttita is certified by American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and is devoted to keeping up with the newest and pioneering treatments available.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and her rescue dog, traveling, cooking and trying out new restaurants, and of course enjoying amazing beaches of Florida.
