Dr. Demetracopoulos is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. He studied neuroscience at Brown University where he was also a member of the varsity crew team. He received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. While a medical student, he was awarded the U.S. Albert Schweitzer Fellowship and the David E. Rogers Fellowship from the New York Academy of Medicine.
Dr. Demetracopoulos completed his orthopedic training at Hospital for Special Surgery. As a resident, he was awarded the Joseph M. Lane Research Grant for his work in the biomechanics laboratory.
