Dr. Ezim received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County prior to obtaining a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He continued on to a 3 year surgical training at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend Indiana where he was appointed chief resident in his final year. He has a passion for staying up to date with the most advanced techniques in conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions but has special interest in limb salvage, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and wound care. He spent the last few years practicing within a multispecialty group in Central California where autonomous and team-based care is emphasized. He is excited to transition to the greater Knoxville area to continue building relationships with patients and being an advocate for their health. He is very much looking forward to joining the team at Knoxville Footcare and helping the community here in East Tennessee move better without pain.
