He has spent significant time treating athletes and sports-related injuries of all types, holding a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has lectured and co-authored articles and book chapters in the field of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery and has remained involved in academics with teaching appointments.
