Dr. Eric Gaughan grew up in Farmington Hills, Michigan, and attended Michigan State University. He received his Podiatric Medical degree from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in Iowa. Dr. Gaughan completed his three-year Podiatric Surgical Residency at Michigan Surgical Hospital, Warren Michigan. There, he received extensive training in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle as well as training in complex wound care. At Michigan Surgical Hospital he was named Chief Resident, lectured to faculty, and assisted in the training of medical students.
