Dr. Claudy Gay was born in Queens, NY, raised in Wellington, Florida and Raleigh, NC.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Biological Sciences from Clemson University. Claudy continued his education and graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. During his time at Temple, he volunteered at many community events providing podiatric care at the Penn Relays, Jeff Hope Clinic, Special Olympics and Sonny Hill Basketball.
