Michael Gifford, DPM

Dr. Gifford was born and raised in Arizona. He graduated from Mesa Mountain View High school and then went on to receive his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University with emphasis in Biology and Business.

He then attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Following graduation from medical school he went on to complete a 3 year foot and ankle surgical residency at Winthrop University Hospital (now NYU Winthrop) in Mineola, NY, and graduated as chief resident.

In 2017, he returned to the Phoenix area with his wife and 3 sons to continue his career in his beloved hometown.

ive surgery. His training included time working in a comprehensive limb salvage clinic and he treats patients of all ages for conditions related to foot and ankle health. He also works with the latest in regenerative medicine and strongly believes in providing the highest quality care in the least invasive approach necessary to obtain relief of pain and deformity.

When not helping his patients receive relief from foot pain, he enjoys spending time with his family and working on his various hobbies of auto mechanics, hunting, camping, boating, and mountain biking.
