I decided to become a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine because my career allows me the privilege of serving patients’ needs on a multidisciplinary scale. Podiatry exists at the intersection of dermatology, vascular surgery, internal medicine, neurology, musculoskeletal science and pediatrics. I am able to contribute to the advancement of medicine globally on a local scale through every patient encounter, surgical procedure and educational experience. It is indeed an honor.
