Jacob Hagenbucher, DPM, AACFAS
Dr. Hagenbucher has a passion for education and enjoys teaching patients, medical students, and residents regarding all aspects of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. During his undergraduate education, Dr. Hagenbucher acted as a teaching assistant for several courses.
He continued his passion for teaching during his medical education at Des Moines University. Dr. Hagenbucher was a tutor for Pharmacology and Anatomy courses. Additionally, he was a teaching assistant for the Anatomy, Lower Limb Anatomy, and Physical Diagnosis courses for the DO, DPM, PA, and PT students. Dr. Hagenbucher completed a rigorous three-year residency in rearfoot reconstruction and trauma at Legacy Health/Kaiser Permanente in Portland, OR. He has authored several research papers and posters. He attends the yearly ACFAS National Conference to stay up to date on the newest surgical innovations and techniques.
Dr. Hagenbucher is dual fellowship trained. He completed a Podiatric Dermatopathology Fellowship in 2018. He additionally completed a one-year immersive study in advance ankle/hindfoot reconstruction, arthroscopy, and total ankle replacements at the Portland Foot and Ankle Institute. He has great experience in complex clinical patients with CRPS, Ehlers-Danlos, Workman’s comp, and revisional surgeries.
Additionally, he enjoys exploring, hiking, and traveling with his wife, and daughter.
