Dr. Hassan was born and raised in a northern suburb of Chicago. He completed his undergraduate studies at Benedictine University earning a bachelors degree in biology and completed a masters degree in biology at Northeastern Illinois University. He then attended four years of medical school at Rosalind Franklin University earning a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his three year surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he served as the chief resident in his final year. His surgical training is extensive with an expertise in all aspects of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery.
