Dr. Alina Kogan was raised in Staten Island, NY where she attended the William E. Macaulay Honors College at the College of Staten Island. She graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Throughout college, she was involved in a number of scientific research projects including Fragile X, and genomic research involving GPCR and Neuroligin1.
