Dr. Lundborg was born and raised in Colorado. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he majored in and graduated with a degree in Integrative Physiology. He always wanted a career in medicine, even from a young age. After shadowing various types of physicians he ultimately decided on foot and ankle as the specialty he was most interested in. Dr. Lundborg then attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine for 4 years where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and graduated in the top of his class.
After school Dr. Lundborg traveled to Boston for a 3 year surgical residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. The residency was focused on ...
trauma and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Lundborg performed over 1,300 surgeries over those 3 years with a range from diabetic wound care to forefoot and bunion procedures to trauma and reconstruction. He has a special interest in flatfoot and cavus reconstructive surgery, trauma, sports medicine, biomechanics, and diabetic foot ulcers.
In his spare time Dr. Lundborg likes to spend time with his wife and dog, as well as partake in any type of outdoor activity such as boating, snowboarding/skiing, golfing, hiking, and camping.
