Dr. Katherine Machado was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia then came to the United States to finish her high school studies.  Dr. Machado became interested in medicine since she was a child and podiatry has given her the opportunity to practice various aspects of medicine.

Dr. Katherine Machado attended the University of Miami where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Biology and then earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Barry University.
