After opening up his own practice in New York and practicing there for several years, Dr. Nejat returned to his childhood home of Los Angeles in 2002 and has practiced here ever since.

To stay physically active, Dr. Nejat participates in the yearly Malibu Triathlon. His wife often joins him in the weight-lifting, while his elementary school age twin girls attempt to do chin-ups between sets.
