Michael Paula, DPM
Dr. Michael D. Paula grew up in Miami, Florida and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. He later attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he served as the Class President and received multiple awards and scholarships. After completing his medical education in Manhattan, Dr. Paula returned to his hometown of Miami for residency training at Jackson South Medical Center, a division of Jackson Memorial Health System. He completed over 1,000 surgical procedures during his 3 year residency and eventually went on to become the Chief Resident.

Currently Dr. Paula has joined Florida Foot & Ankle Associates and is in private practice located in the UHealth tower at the University of Miami Hospital. He is a patient-oriented individual offering exceptional communication and diagnostic skills. He speaks both English and Spanish. Dr. Paula is Board-Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in foot and rearfoot/ankle reconstruction. He has multiple research publications and enjoys staying up to date on the latest advancements in podiatric medicine. Whether it be nonsurgical-conservative care or surgical intervention Dr. Paula is committed to providing his patients with a personalized treatment plan to fit their needs
