Originally from Medellin, Colombia, Dr. Richard Perez grew up in Florida and studied Biology at The Florida State University. Dr. Perez received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University. Dr. Perez completed both a residency and a fellowship in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with special emphasis on trauma at Broadlawns Medical Center. In addition, he is board certified by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Richard Perez served as an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio.
