Ivan Rubiano, DPM
Dr. Ivan A. Rubiano is a Podiatric surgeon serving Salem, Roanoke and the surrounding community of SW Virginia. He believes practicing medicine is a privilege and does not take it for granted.
Dr. Rubiano was born in Bogota, Colombia and along with his family, moved to Florida at 6 years of age. He played Division II soccer and aspired to pursue a career in Medicine. Upon completion of Undergrad he earned his Masters at Barry University where he would also go on to earn a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Barry University.

he Sunshine state for the Blue Ridge mountains of Roanoke, VA. Here he completed a reconstructive foot and ankle surgical Fellowship. He chose to stay and continue practicing in Roanoke where he is currently a part of FASMA.
Dr. Rubiano has extensive training in elective and non-elective complex reconstructive surgery including: diabetic charcot, sports related injuries, pediatric deformities and trauma of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Rubiano and his wife Krysandra with their 3 children, Lily, Hannah and Sebastian enjoy being outdoors, playing sports, shopping and traveling. They are very involved in their church.
Dr. Rubiano is currently taking new patients, same day and future appointments. He is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. He is a firm believer in treating others how one would like to be treated. He would like all his current and future patients to know that when he evaluates your foot or ankle concerns, he will make sure you are treated as if you were family.
