Dr. Samson is an experienced board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who provides a complete range of podiatric medical and surgical care. Dr. Samson attended Providence College before working in Boston as a cardiac surgery research assistant. From there he attended medical school at Temple University School of Medicine, Division of Podiatry, while he and his wife Susan started their family. in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, training with some the nation’s most influential surgeons at UPenn Presbyterian Medical Center. As chief resident, he spent two months teaching advanced foot and ankle techniques to orthopedic surgeons in Sweden. Following this, he became board certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and is one of only about 10,000 Fellows of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Samson and his wife were drawn to central Maine by their love of the outdoors, raising their four children to love the snow and ice as much as the lakes and ocean. After running a private practice succesfully for 15 years in the Oakland area, he merged with Inland Hospital.
