Dr. Smith is a native of Columbus, Georgia where he graduated from Calvary Christian High School.
He attended Auburn University where he majored in BiomedicalSciences. Following Auburn University, Dr. Smith attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois where he received numerous awards and scholarships. While attending podiatry school, he is one of the few who also obtained his Masters Degree in Healthcare Management and Administration.
Dr. Smith then completed his 3 year residency training at one of the tophospitals in Chicago, Loyola University Medical Center. While at Loyola, Dr. Smith served as chief resident while receiving extensive training in all aspects of podiatric care inc...
He joined Columbus Foot & Ankle in the summer of 2012. He enjoys lecturing to the local community and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Georgia Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He volunteers within the podiatry community by serving on committees for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Smith also writes and reviews questions for the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners multiple times per year in Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.
