Dr. Tenny was born and raised in Washington state. He graduated from Brigham Young University with degrees in Nutritional Science and Business. Medical school took Dr. Tenny, and his wife, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he received his podiatry degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2014. During that time, Dr. Tenny served as a student elected delegate on the American Podiatric Medical Student Association. Dr. Tenny completed his three year surgical residency in Philadelphia at Roxborough Memorial Hospital with an emphasis in reconstructive rearfoot surgery and limb salvage modalities. Dr. Tenny is fluent in the English and Spanish languages. With a passion for helping others, he has traveled to South America on three service related missions. After two years of missionary service in Agrentina, Resistencia, Dr. Tenny was invited to join a medical research team in Bolivia, South America. While there, he was instrumental in developing a nutritional supplement for the nutrient deprived children of the Alta-Plano. Additionally, Dr. Tenny traveled to The Galapagos Islands, Ecuador to be an interpreter for physicians involved in Doctors Without Borders.
Dr. Tenny loves spending time with his wife and two boys. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, golfing, running and has completed two half marathons and competed in a Tough Mudder event.
