Eric Ward, DPM, is an ABFAS board certified foot surgeon at InStride Foot & Ankle of the Carolinas, a premier podiatry practice with locations in Matthews and Monroe, North Carolina.
Dr. Ward specializes in comprehensive foot and ankle care, including minimally invasive surgery for heel pain. He attended undergraduate college at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, and received his podiatric medicine doctorate from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. Dr. Ward completed his preceptorship in Whitehaven Tennessee with Drs. Gold and Cook and podiatric surgical residency at Baptist Memorial Specialty Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee.

Dr. Ward maintains his advanced credentials with continuing education. He is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a member of the North Carolina Foot & Ankle Society and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
He’s affiliated with Carolinas Medical Center, Novant Medical Centers, and Union West Surgery Center. Dr. Ward compassionately welcomes patients to InStride Family Foot Care and looks forward to working with them.
