Lawrence O. Ward, DPM, FACFAS came to Farmington, NM in 2006 after finishing a three year residency in foot and ankle surgery. This residency was completed in Farmington Hills, Michigan. His area of specialty is foot and ankle surgery, but conservative care is always emphasized before going forward with any surgical procedure.

Dr. Ward earned his undergraduate degree in Radiological Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
He attended podiatric medical school in San Francisco, California and subsequently completed a three-year residency at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Dr. Ward is Board Certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and is also a member of the New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Ward has 5 children ranging in ages from 3 to 15 years old. His wife is an avid runner and enjoys participating in marathons. Dr. Ward enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, automobile restoration and woodworking. He is involved in Cub and Boy Scouting and attends the Blue Mountain Scout Camp every year
